The Development Report, spearheaded by The Development Catalyst, is a pioneering radio program dedicated to amplifying sustainable development initiatives. Airing on People's 105.5FM in Abuja, Nigeria, the program provides a platform for discussing critical environmental and social issues such as climate change, waste management, and public health risks like open defecation. By featuring structured segments, expert guests, and insightful discussions, The Development Report educates and enlightens its audience, fostering a deeper understanding of sustainable development. The program celebrates local champions who turn waste into valuable resources, promoting a culture of innovation and sustainability within communities. Leveraging a unique multi-faceted approach, The Development Catalyst combines digital and traditional media to raise awareness and drive action on pressing issues. Through its radio program, The Development Report, the company not only informs the public but also serves as a form of Corporate Social Responsibility, contributing to the global goals outlined in the 2024 UN SDG report. This comprehensive strategy highlights the transformative power of media in promoting sustainable development and societal change. Lastly, we also give back to the society by mentoring young people. One of our mentees is a beneficiary of the Media EIS fellowship.
